About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding beauty, art, and love throughout this awesome world.

ABOUT ME

I'm a retired architect and part-time intimacy coach. I love Authentic Relating, performance art, beauty, and this gorgeous world. I love to meet new people sharing old stories and new experiences alike.

PHILOSOPHY

Accept. Embrace. Let Go.

I believe that time is our most valuable resource and love is letting go of fear.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I am currently in my nomadic phase, I hope to meet people, possibly share meals, practice language skills, and make friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love couch surfing because it reinforces my already great faith in humanity and the kindness of "strangers." It's wonderful to get to meet people I wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to know. Sure beats hanging out alone at a Motel 6!

Interests

I love road trips, nature, languages, music, art, architecture, and ants. Mostly though, I love people and spend most of my time keeping connected to old friends and making new ones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I heard thunder in Hong Kong so powerful that it set off all the car alarms. Also watching and hearing the gibbons at the Hong Kong zoo sing their daily "bonding song" to each other and their baby.

I swam with a herd of giant parrot fish (the size of cows!) while snorkeling off the NW coast of Bali.

I saw a sun dog (i.e., a parhelion) while driving to Acoma Pueblo-- the "sky city"-- in New Mexico. Looked and felt like a miracle.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In
