When traveling, I love experiencing everything, even the mundane, as someone new to that world. I also really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their story! There are few things lovelier than having someone share themselves with you and being able to share yourself with them in return, regardless of how brief your lives intersect.

Music, Movies, and Books

Really enjoy going to live music events of any genre.

Great admiration for film whether it inspires or cracks me up; I feel like movies are just a great way to connect with people in a way that can be surprisingly intimate at times or can just be good fun. Some of my favorites include Groundhog Day, Les Parapluies de Cherbourg, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Roman Holiday, Little Miss Sunshine, Stolen Kisses, Ernest & Celéstine.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I can teach you yoga, but can’t think of anything else.

I used to bake really often, but haven’t in a while. So, baking or cooking would be fun to learn, especially dishes specific to your culture. In general, I think it’s really nice to prepare and share a meal with someone.

Also, interested in language learning, but am extremely rusty. (German specifically, I basically just know how to ask for the location of the toilet and how to count).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a strong reputation as someone who always shares their snacks with others haha

But more importantly, I’d be happy to help around the house, accompany you on errands, pick up some groceries for you, or anything like that. Feel free to ask me to do you a favor!

Also, though you would be doing me a service as a host, I hope that my stay would bring you joy as well.
