To be happy. It's that simple.
I used to think I was a complex person. I wanted to be a complex person. Now, I realize I'm a tiny speck in this big, wonderful world- which is not exactly a bad thing. I am attached to this idea that we all co-exist and yet parallel lives oftentimes do not meet. A textbook Enneagram type 4, I am in love with things intangible, creative, and poetic. I turned vegan after being a heavy meat-eater (near-carnivore) most of my life. It was the best thing I ever did and was truly a life-changing event in so many ways!
Live- truly live! Love yourself above all. In loving yourself, you learn that it is in your best interest to reduce suffering in as much as you can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked during my first winter in Beijing because the email convinced me to want to see the frozen waterfalls. As I was hiking and contemplating the reality of how close to death I was, I thought to myself: Getting in touch with nature is nice, but next time maybe nature can just send me a postcard.
Ok, this does not qualify as "amazing thing done/seen" but I'd like to share it anyway.
