About Me

CURRENT MISSION

boulder here i come!

ABOUT ME

i love / appreciate the ocean, interesting conversation, a homecooked meal with good people, a book that allows me to escape into uncharted headspace.

i'm at a transitional point in my life at the moment - between living in the bay area and moving to boulder to start a grad program. i've never lived outside of california and i look forward to exploring colorado - the mountains, the people, the rivers.

PHILOSOPHY

on one hand, life is short. live with fullness.
but life is also long. you can lead as many different lives as you have the ability to imagine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i'm very new here. updates coming soon!

Interests

when i'm not working / at school, i spend a lot of time organizing writing workshops, which are really just an excuse to talk about the thing i love with people who share the same passion.

being outside - whether it's for a hike, a dog walk, or a picnic - really makes me happy. i love pointing somewhere in the distance and spending the day getting there, like the top of a small mountain or a funky colored building on the other side of the city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

my dad grew up in a small ranching town in jalisco, mexico. i just went to visit for the first time this month and it was the most fulfilling experience i've had to date - waking up before sunrise to the sound of roosters, herding cattle to the ranch for milking, drinking rainwater from a hollowed gourd. after living in the city for the past couple years, it really changed things for me. everything is so much more pure down there.
