CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to meet people who are dedicated to a life style that promotes optimum health. I turned into a health nut last year and since then, I have been trying to meet as many people as possible who share this view of life.

ABOUT ME

I am traveling to Rome on November 1st. I am planning on trekking around Europe for 3 months. I really want to meet people on this trip and have a chance to find out how people in Europe stay healthy. I want to exchange ideas and learn something new each day.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to laugh. Laughing is the best feeling in the world! Its better than sex. So I try to laugh a lot every day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was in the peace corps in Kyrgyzstan and I lived with a host family while in-country. It is one of the best experiences I have had but its also one of the hardest. (Its funny how many times you find those two qualifiers together) I don't know if that counts as having "couchsurfing experience" but I think I learned a lot about how to be a good guest.

Interests

I am a vegetable juice enthusiast. My favorite drink is Kale, Apple, Carrot, Fennel, Celery, heavy on the kale. I love raw foods and I want to visit farmer's markets. My second passion right now is I am trying to learn how to paint and draw. I have a sketch book that I am trying to fill.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 2 years in the peace corps and I lived in Russia for a year and Kyrgystan for a year. After I finished my volunteer work with the Peace Corps, I spent a few months just traveling around to places like Thailand, Austria and the Netherlands. It was an amazing trip and I can not wait to travel the world again.

I am learning everyday about things a person can do to stay healthy and live a long and active life. I want to share all of the things I have learned this far with anyone who wants to learn from me and I hope that there are people out there who want to teach me what they know.
