Honest, direct, kind and trustworthy.
I hate dishonest, dirty or smelly people, and I absolutely loath violence of any kind and alcohol abuse.
Long before couchsurfing.com existed I already offered and did couchsurfing. This was only within a certain circle of friends though.
And in that case I've had good experiences, but at times people did take my place for a (free) hotel. That is very disrespectful indeed.
Couch surfers need to respect the hosts' spaces and bare with the house rules, to say the least. And also buy the necessary groceries.
I've hosted people from all continents and backgrounds, for a lot of years.
At the moment I can not host any couch surfer.

I can not host any couch surfers at the moment.
But, there's a cosy corner (with a real bed) in a spacious flat available in Paris 19th arr. Sleeps only one. For a non-smoking and clean, discreet, person. Ideal for a business person or so, who needs a place 2-3 nights a week for a period of about 3-6 months. This is payable though. But much cheaper than a hotel. 兴趣

I do sometimes like to go out, but am very homely! Do not appreciate parties, neither lots of people at home. Home is my resting place, a kind of calm retreat in this busy city. So I do want people to respect this when they are here.

As for travelling, been to places, lived in places for long periods, lots...
I prefer to really live amoungst the people (in my own rented flat or space) for some time, if possible.
That's not travelling, but living... ;-)

I can share a lot of interesting life experiences and city info and so on. And I appreciate to share with like hearted people.

In need of finding the "right" place to settle down, I've lived and worked in a lot of different countries, organized and often had to improvize on the spot. By my sole incentive, not with any organizations or expatriate contracts (that's easy stuff).
It's all the tougher to go out there and discover how to get along in a new country and environnement! And very enduring as a woman alone!
Many unwanted hardships experienced and many extreem adventures, I can not even count!
Now, I really want life to be kinder to me! In every way!
That said, I shall want to meet with spiritually uncomplicated evolved humans! (do they exist?) :-9
Anyway, at least I now dare to state what I trully do not want! :-)
