Hello there! I'm a 22 yo girl from Rotterdam (Netherlands)! I've done Art School for 1,5 years and next september I'm going to the University of Leiden to get my bachelor in Philosophy.

I'm a positive and cheerful person that likes to discover new things. I'm really curious too and it doesn't matter much about what. I like to listen and really hear. I like long talks about all the aspect of life. Naturally I'm a pretty calm, social and caretaking person who often likes to goof around and make silly jokes :).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always dreamt of traveling and meeting new people from different countries and cultures~ For a long time I was kinda scared to go out into the world by myself and explore but now I'm ready for an adventure!

I think Couchsurfing is a great way to broaden my horizon! And not only to visit countries and cities but really experience them. I think it would be so much fun to meet all of you!

Interests

I'm passionate about Art, all kinds of it haha. I like to visit musea and I also like to make art myself :). I love to take my camera and go into the woods, or to the beach (or any kind of nature) to take photographs, and I want to try my hand at photographing urban life as well. And I paint!

I also like to craft, make little things with felt and fabric, sometimes whole costumes haha. And crochet cute little stuff.

Next to that I like to bake and cook, read books, take long walks, play videogames or boardgames and many many more things interest me!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm mostly a fan of Rock music but I also like to listen to pop radio and even classical soundtracks :). Some of my favorite bands and artists include: Within Temptation, Poets of the Fall, Björk, Florence + The Machine

Movies! After a long day I love to crawl onto my couch and watch a movie haha. I prefer Sci-Fi stories, and Fantasy, Romance, Art House movies and every now and then a horror. Also a big Star Wars fangirl!

And ofcourse books! I love to read! Again Sci-Fi and Fantasy haha, but a lot of Young Adult too, or more philosophical or historical things. Books that make me happy are: Ender Saga/Series, Eragon Saga, Shatter me, all books by Trudi Canavan, all books by Jay Kristoff
