ABOUT ME

I like the moonlight, the beach and its white sand, the way cats move at night, I like a smile, but I do get sad sometimes (especially when I see discrimination or injustice), I love life and I believe in fairies and in true love... Like the smell of leaves falling during the autumn, the colors of the sea when the sun is setting and a movie with popcorn is everything on a rainy day... for those days when I just want to be quiet: the tales of Edgar Allan Poe listening to some blues...
But most important... everythin I just said it´s just a small part of who I am... the rest... I let life decide...

PHILOSOPHY

I truly believe in this: "Get busy living or get busy dying" (from the movie Shawshank Redemption)... just wake up every day and try to do your best... and if things are really fuck up... breath and start all over again... life, just like time, is fluid... and it is really possible to bend it! :)

Edgar Allan Poe´s collection (The Black Cat is my favorite tale), Harry Potter (magic is real, whether you believe in it or not), Blindness - Saramago(Ensaio sobre a Cegueira, both book and movie are outstanding!), Goonies (this movie marked my childhood), Resident Evil (I know!! But Milla Jojovich is awesome!), Birth of Biopolitics(O Nascimento da Biopolítica - Foucault), The words of the father (As palavras do Pai - J.L.Moreno) and lately Clarice Lispector! Menino a bico de pena!... oh my... I could go on and on...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That kiss, that look, that touch... that place, that time... now!! :D But three moments pop-up in my mind: the ocean and a meditation practice on the rocks... with the sea´ waves knocking against the wall where I was sitting... water spreading and there was only peace...
The other one was when I was visiting Italy, more precisely the Sistine Chapel, and I look at the ceiling and stay there amased by the art... a poetry and a transcendention moment in the form of painting.
The last, but not least, moment was when I was with my companion and we were in Portbou, clibing the Pyrenees and then we were between Spain and France and just the see was witnessing was there...

Teach, Learn, Share

I am interested in all kinds of knowledge, from space and universal comprehension to ways of planting a flower...
So... I won´t try to make you believe in the same things I do (I don´t even know if I´ll believe in them tomorrow), thus I just ask you not to try to make me join in any beliefs too...´cause the way I see it...there is no truth... just ways of looking and perceiving life... Tastes and aromas, foods and spices, poetry and music... and most important, I am not trying to say there is one thing better than other, simply that things are by themselves, without dichotomies or the idea of good&evil... just being...
