Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just stumbled upon the Couchsurfing group on Facebook and I thought it was a really awesome idea. I probably will only use it for local events right now, but I know this will come in handy down the road when I'm ready to do my overseas backpacking trip! (whenever that might be) I think the idea of hosting other visitors might be cool too. I'm easily fascinated by foreign cultures, even different ones in the states!
