Hi, I'm Angie From Colombia. I have get my degree in Petroleum Engineering.

I arrived to USA 2 weeks ago for working like au pair during 1 year, and I want to visit all possible places in this beautiful country. I believe that this experience will help me to improve my English, to be more independent, to travel for this country and grow as a person. While I'm In USA I would like to travel to Korea for some days. I have wanted traveling to Asia since I was child and I want to begin for Korea. Later maybe when I begin to work I will travel around others part of Asia

I'm a friendly person and I like help people. I can prove all type of food and I always try to accommodate myself to any situation and put a smile. I cannot be good in some things but I always try to do the things as best possible. I like doing xtreme sports, listening to music and speaking with the people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to travel around USA while working like au pair. Also, My dream ever have been traveling around Asia. I was worried because My dream would be expensive and I maybe can not live a rewarding and amazing experience but this blog they taught me that that money isn't the barrier, the barrier is my mind.

I always have believed that the best form of have a magnificent travel in other countries is living with its culture and Couchsurfing is the best form for do it, I would have amazing experiences, meet people around the world, making new friends and living the best experience of my life, that the same time it will be rewarding for both parties. Now I believe that I can do it, I'm saving money for live the best experience of my life with you.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really love listening to music, I believe that the music helps to unite people regardless of culture that they have. The music is the best partner in a trip and when I feel alone. The music make me happy and for this reason I like that the people listen music with me because they can be happy too. My favorite group is Maroon 5 but I really enjoy all type of music: Jazz, Rock, Pop,K-Pop (in any idiom).

I love drama movies, I think that it in many cases it help me to reflect many things about me and about the world and how I can improve myself. My favorite movie is The Pursuit Of Happiness.

I really enjoyed reading when I was at school, but you know I'm studying at University and I don't have enough free time, now I only read book about my career, however On vacations I'm trying to read more. I have read all types of books but my favorites are the novels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe that at the moment that I chose my career. The people said me that my career was for men and that I couldn't handle the heavy ambient in the industry because I was very sensitive and shy, but now I'm really happy when I go to oil field for some days and I put to test my knowledge. I became stronger, more decisive and less shy and reckless.

My career requires me to learn new languages like English and Portuguese too, for this reason the best decision was study "Petroleum engineering".

I can teach something about my culture or my language, I don't know cook but I could try to cook some typical from my country to you.
