About Me
UPD 2024: trying to go back to hosting after finding a new place, but now I have to spend a lot of time in Madrid for work, so I'm a little hard to catch. Still hit me up if the dates are available in my calendar and we might get lucky :D
Hi, I'm Angie and traveling is one of my life's biggest passions!
I am a professional translator (I've translated such series as American Horror Story into Russian) and a language teacher. Right now I'm working in the field of videogames.
I love learning languages, singing, discovering new places and getting inspired by the people I meet along the way. I also cosplay, so I can sew, style wigs and have some other weird skills that I would love to tell you everything about if you're curious! Hiking is another passion of mine, I love challenging myself, facing my fears, exploring and trying new things little by little.
Due to the current situation in my country of origin and in case there's any doubt: I am AGAINST the war.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is an important part of my life that restores my faith in humanity. It's incredibly beautiful to meet so many kind people all over the globe and learn something valuable with every trip.
As a host, my main goal is to help you and give you a place to stay.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am very passionate about classical music and have studied singing for 7 years. Also love R'n'B and soul.
I'm super into cinema and watch almost everything. My all-time favorites are mostly animated movies: Mulan, The Hunchback of Notre-Dame, Prince of Egypt, Anastasia, Coco, Pocahontas...
My favorite show is Avatar The Last Airbender, I also love series like Game of Thrones, How I Met Your Mother and many others.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Honestly, I am so clumsy that the fact that I'm still alive after so much traveling is already incredible.
Also translated very famous videogames and got Timothée Chalamet's autograph lol
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd be happy to treat them to all the food I can afford or bring something delicious if the logistics allow it :D Would also love to help them with language practice if they need it! And of course, I have a decent number of fun and weird stories to share!
