Hello there fellow reader, I'm new to this community and I'm learning how the culture of how this works. I am VERY new to the couch surfing but Shawnte isn't. I just created this profile so, I understand there are standards for verification and approval. that is besides the payment option. -- (BLUE) Bear with me!

I'm currently in Denver, Colorado with my girlfriend, Shawnte. We just moved to Colorado from Miami and need a place to stay while we hunt for apartments as we both start our jobs soon! I'm a pastry chef and Shawnte is a student pilot who will be working at Amazon. We're simple to please and don't have much on us. We're minimalist.

I'm Colombian but raised in Miami, FL and Shawnte is from Dallas, TX.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly, We're trying to budget so we can find an apartment as soon as possible while exploring the city. We're quickly discovering areas we wish to move to and can't wait to start living it up in Denver and call this place our home!

Angie: I personally am enjoying how friendly and hospitable everyone in this city contrary to Miami. I'm very friendly but wary of meeting up with random people online. Which is weird because I mostly make friendships online for the past 10 years and never met anyone except my girlfriend a few rare gems that become good friends over different websites. With that said, I'd love to go to an upcoming event to continue to learn about this culture to make new friends. That's what its all about, right?

Angie: I like to listen to playlists from the 50's, 60's, 70's and I currently discovered my favorite movie is "Discovering Jane Doe"and I'm currently reading "Perks of Being a Wall Flower."

Shawnte: I like indie music. My favorite movie is "Shutter Island" or any horror movies like "Halloween" and "Friday the 13th." My favorite book is "Hyperspace" by Dr. Michio Kaku.
