We're traveling the world and on the look out for new friends and experiences far and wide.

It's really hard to sum us up on a profile/message or request. We're just the kind of people you'll need to meet to get to know. We're mostly quiet, unassuming people who are generous natured and hoping to share the world with others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Taking a leap of faith and quitting this world of responsibility, packing my (and my husband's) bags and we're heading off around the world. Looking to meet the locals and places to stay that will guide our trip along and give us lifelong memories and friends.
We're NOT in it for the free ride. We maybe new to this community but are 100% behind growing the 'share economy' and the good nature of people!

We're happy to host anyone if we have the chance before we leave. We just love to meet new people on a journey. The opportunity to open our home up is for anyone willing to be open honest people with kind hearts.

Meeting like minded open and generous people is what makes life worth living.
We're generous people and we love to open ourselves up to new friends and homes, experiences and times to bond. So far we have had a great time with our couch-surfing hosts in Canada and the US - it's really wonderful and life affirming to meet like-minded, open people.

We put a lot of effort into our requests and hope that any potential host who is serious about the CS community respects, that not responding to someone can be disheartening... Maybe Angie is a little sensitive but we are great guests if only given the chance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Angie: Teach cooking to young mums mums living in crisis centres. Cooking along side Jamie Oliver.

James: Emigrating and starting a new life in a new country with a wonderful woman

Teach, Learn, Share

Everything in life changes and we hope that we can share some of our warmth and generosity with people we meet.

There is always something new to learn from every person you meet, whether we realise it or not, we are constantly learning from and teaching each other... that aside:

Angie - can teach people how to cook! :)

James - would be happy to help anyone with computers - especially coding/website stuff!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A great cooked meal! A cheery disposition, good conversation.

We can be as quiet and independent as needed or we can hang out and have a good time - we're super easy going!

Angie always takes joy from cooking and feeding others. We're generous and open minded.
