ABOUT ME

Uff- self-descriptions are always a little bit weird ^^. But I'll give it a try: I'm a 27 year old, easy-going girl, which loves trekking, hiking, biking and being in nature and I will always find a puddle of mud. I laugh a lot and most of the time I'm really good-humored, except if I'm starving- a banana helps. If I have some time off (which hasn't been often in last times, sorry for that), I'm always looking forward to hang out with my friends talking, playing games, making music.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

After finishing my master thesis, I took the chance to have some time off, leaving Germany and see (a little bit of) the world, especially Canada. CS offered me the possibility to meet the most amazing people ever. And it's because of them that I feel at home, everywhere I've been so far.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My CS-statement:
CS is really the best chance to meet great people all over the world and in your hometown, too.
So join groups, offer couches, go to CS meetings or organize some - keep CS alive! All the experiences are worth it!

Interesses

I love being out in nature, no matter if there's sunshine, rain, snow, mud, or minus thirty degree (ok, that's damn cold ^^, but I did my winter camping). I'm looking for hiking, biking, snowball battles, volleyball or just enjoying a cold beer with my friends in the park.
Music is an essential part of my life in every way- homemade, at concerts, just listening or singing in the shower (hope nobody has ever heard this). Additionally, I start everywhere and at any times cooking and baking for other people, the more, the merrier- I don't like eating alone. And I have to clean the kitchen afterwards (everybody has his obsessions :P) So, maybe one day you share a couch with me and you will get some famous "Kasspatzen"(= cheesy spaetzle)in return.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

There have been so many peaceful moments in my life, I'm grateful for all of them. Camping in an old ruin in spain and watch the sunset is one of them, the moment when you can finally put your backpack down after you hiked your way. The quietness when you first open your tent in the morning and the world just seems to be still sleeping. But I can find my peace also in a cup of coffee, the smell of fresh cut grass, or having somebody around who you really like.

I really love food in every way. It starts from gardening, to making my own bread, apple sauce or 4 layer cream cakes. No matter, I'm always interested in learning new ways of cooking and I will never hesitate to share my recipes.
