About Me

Hey! I’m Angie, born and raised in Mexico and living in Mexico City for over 20 years now. I really love my country and, of course, Mexican food 🌮🌶️.

I’m a cheerful, outgoing person who enjoys dancing: bachata, salsa, or honestly any music that makes me move. I’d say I’m a free spirit and I like to keep a positive outlook on life.

Faith is also an important part of who I am—it helps me see things through love, forgiveness, and connection. I believe we’re all brothers and sisters, so I try to be kind and helpful wherever I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people, sharing cultures, and creating real connections. For me, traveling is not only about places, but about the people you meet along the way. Couchsurfing feels like a beautiful way to share kindness, stories, and everyday life with others.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love dancing music like bachata and salsa, but I also enjoy almost anything that makes me move or sing along. Latin rhythms are definitely my happy place.

When it comes to movies, I’m into stories that inspire or make me reflect—though I also enjoy a good superhero movie or a fun comedy.

For books, I like reading things that open my mind and heart: from spiritual reads to novels that make me travel through their pages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I accompanied my mom through her 3-year journey with breast cancer. It wasn’t easy, but it taught me to live in the present, to trust the process, and to find hope in every day. That experience opened my heart and made me believe even more that we’re here for a greater purpose.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’d love to share my culture and traditions, and maybe even teach some basic salsa or bachata steps 💃.

I’m always open to learning from others—whether it’s about their culture, language, cooking, or just their way of seeing life.

And what I enjoy most is sharing good conversations, laughs, and meaningful moments that make us feel connected.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer good company, meaningful conversations, and lots of positive energy. I’d be happy to share about Mexican culture, or even teach a few salsa or bachata steps 💃. I also have 7 adorable kittens 🐾, so I can share plenty of cat stories! Above all, I bring respect, gratitude, and a genuine desire to connect.
