ABOUT ME

I love to travel! There is just too much the world has to offer to waste time doing anything twice. I am constantly searching for the best of the best. I'm hoping to find it by the time I retire so that I can surround myself by it. So get back to me in about 30 years and I'll let you know what I found out.
I lived a relatively sheltered childhood so I'm trying to break out of that shell, but it can be very comfortable in here so pry gently!
I really like thinking outside of the box either to define a problem or solve one. Sometimes it gets waaay out there, but it will usually be positive thoughts at the least.
Ask me any day of the next week and I will identify a free event for you to partake in.
I am a sucker for good photo ops.
At any given moment I would rather be listening to music, singing at the top of my lungs, and dancing like a maniac.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf and try to make the local couchsurfing meetups. I would host more, but not that many requests come in and we are usually really busy keeping very early to bed early to rise hours that do not suit the typical surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Spent 3 great days in Atlanta. They have a great couchsurfing network there and we got to meet a few other hosts. Could't be more fun! I was hosted for an evening in Kentucky and have done unofficial surfing in Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. Recently hosted in Houston. Surfing for a combined two weeks in Ireland, England, France and Amsterdam.

Envrionmental issues (if I surf at your house, I can gaurentee that your utility bills will not increase... they may even decrease while I'm there). Water related activites, volleyball, soccer, football, tennis, golf, all sports in general. Food and dancing are the two essentials. Being goofy and enjoying life!
ALSO, I am not so much interested in what's wrong with XYZ but what you think can be done to IMPROVE XYZ. Let's make change people not just gripe about crap.

Gone Marlin fishing in the Virgin Islands and caught (and released) a 400 lb Marlin.
Rode a horse across the Arabian desert, and saw a unique view of the Treasury in Petra, Jordan.
Played a pick up game of soccer with kids in Costa Rica.
Toured the opulence of Dubai.
Took a surfing lesson from an Israeli pro surfer in Costa Rica.
Survived an Air China flight.
Swam in the Dead Sea and gathered water from the Jordan River.
Worked with 100 oil and gas workers off the coast of Angola drilling for energy.
