ABOUT ME

I grew up in Bs As but left to the UK 8 years ago to work I as a volunteer in a school for special needs children. I love dancing, and this passion started when I was a child but it move
from dance as performing art to dance as mean of healing. I have recently finish my MA qualification in Dance Movment Psychotherapy.I am a qualified Dance Movement Pychotherapist, working with a variety of client population.Besides dancing, I love drumming, travelling and meeting new cultures and people with different backgroundsI don't know how to describe myself....as I am always changing...hopefully evolving ; D...best to meet me in person

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live with other 2 CSs and every now and then we host Cs in our house.I sometimes participate in CS group outings

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Always Great!I have surfed and couched, met my city's group and found 2 housemates through the group. The most valued experience is 'being welcomed as 'an old friend's when I haven't even met the person before.

Centres d'intérêt

Dancing (all types), music( specially Brazilian Percussion) or any other arts. Traveling and getting to know different cultures, including their people, languages, ethnic food, nature, etc, etc. Within all things, the one I miss and I love more is The SUNSHINE!!! So if there is sunshine I have guarantied happiness

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

At the moment I just listen to Brazilian music, however I do like other world music, reggae, ska, gipsy and Balkan. Depending on my mood. I love dancing, anything with good rhythm is good for partying.

Movies: Again international movies (Amelie, City of God), true stories,comedy, science fiction (Lords of the rings, etc). I hate horror movies, get too scare. At times when I am tired and lazy I like cheesy or kids movies.

BOOKS: I use to read a lot of kids or Science fiction books ( Harry Potter, Lord of The ring, stardust) but now because of my studies I am ready quite a lot of real-life stories.

Leaving my country to explore the wide wide world.Going to Bahia (Brazil)... it then made me fall in love with its culture and the SAMBA!

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I am not very good at teaching and I don't even know what I can teach. I am a intermediate surdo player (brazilian percussion), but I could teach you the little that I know.Also play poi (swing) and can share and swap tricks with you.I'll like to learn more percussion and improve the languages that I am only a begginer.I am happy to share a dance with you and share the knowledge of dance movement psychotherapy
