I Live in Beautiful Crete Greece, I live 35mins from Xania in a exclusive paradise spot over looking famous earth moving white mountains lefka ori; working on creating two ecological villa and very early stages of a permaculture garden in the 8000m2 of olive groves (160 trees) and surrounding land which includes a small river in winter at the back. . If not rented to tourists this is one of couch
options, or camping on terrace under the stars is also a personal favourite of mine! Guaranteed to see shooting star every 3-5 minutes in August.

- I grew up in United Kingdom, where you born is chance not a choice but I was very lucky, travelling, illness and nature are the greatest and humblest of teachers.. Now I live in my soul home in middle of planet earth in one of the best Greek Islands of Crete (Greece!). I also own run a small global business’s in asia and Europe as day job which I love, I work most days so free time is more at weekends. Although mixing at the big end of the devils c*ck of large corporations, (matrix) I do it in style, and I believe at a very high level, this has been a great educator on how the world really works and thank god I can exit back to crete, paradoxically my job allows me to be free, work with PEOPLE from all nationalities, live with means and GROW personally and professionally whilst continuing a Working global legacy of 28 years started by my father who has since passed away.

It is important for me to eat well (Learning to grow own food via permaculture template ); - I believe your body and mind is vehicle that works best with good fuel ! however if we honest with ourselves treats are also special and as important.. I am no mother Theresa!!

Above all I enjoy to be a part of giving or experiencing anything that gives a positive human emotion!

I was born in England, and still exp[oring where I am from. I have lived in Crete for almost 10 years and I am in the process of establishing an EcoRetreat (About here.. https://www.ecoretreatcrete.com/about-ecoretreatcrete) previously I run a marine business small with 1400 seafarers contracted to sea vessels from 3 different locations Philippines, East Europe and West Europe.

I have lived with depression most of my life and a suicide survivor, from this experience brought me a lot of inner exploration, and knowledge which I am open to discussing and I feel can be turned to a silver in a dark cloud. I can also talk in depth about society, human values, and a basic knowledge of ''Ancient Wisdom;; so called.

I believe my strengths are; very sensitive and very strong when needed, I love humour and can invite humour to myself especially, others and the world using my observation which I can watch all day... I love to explore the things in life that really bring a positive fulfilment and equally I am fascinated by the car crash dark side of humanity. I know what I want and who I want to do it with. I feel I have discovered myself although I am evolving and changing occasionally I need to catch up and lose myself from time to time. I prefer Flexible Minds, that live in the moment, I am spiritual... I value an Intelligent exchange!.. I love shallow humorous piss taking banter as much as a deep philosophical political debate .. I enjoy and observe my environment by listening through all senses and would love to share an experience where there seems to be an Abundance of like-minded people CS!!

I Host in an authentic true hidden paradise spot in crete, just 35minutes to centre Xania, and 5 mins (4k) to beautiful beaches and taverns of Kalyves.. Public transport links are exceptional as being in a through village for EVERY bus and 2 mins from national road. There are two villas on site(which are to be rented in 2017 to tourists) plus a rustic garden house (which is still being finished with bunk beds toilet etc) are ecological built from local stone and wood, you have mountains and stars all to your self here and even a running stream to the back of the plot in Winter.. Yet on the doorstep is Xania city and beach.. . The surrounding fertile plot will conform to a permaculture plan. Brief is to be 20% self sufficient by 3 years, over a 140 trees mainly olive, walnut, bay leaf, oak and alpine with many more to be planted.. symbiotically an ‘’Income’’ is generated using the two very high quality, no expense spared, ecologically built Villas from Crete tourist market.

I can guide some of the white mountains, unspoilt beaches, forests, historical sites where most do not go.. Way beyond the tourist eye get to with a hilux 4*4 truck which is fully equipped for almost every scenario. My ambition is too explore as many mountains, rivers and beaches of Crete this lifetime which is not possible as there is many lifetimes of exploring. This costs me a bit of money for maintenance as she takes a brilliant pounding occasionally but the pay back trade off is well worth it! For ME I get to share these places with the like minds of couch surfing community much cheaper than I would by myself and above all share it in the moment with like minds. This is a 100 % personal and I am trying to keep contributions community Co operative for the benefit of surfers and of course myself. For this reason I do ask for cost contribution of fuel and small maintenance which I pay my divided share of divided by number of surfers which saves you money and I get to share my passion at a discount. I can also offer to explore by Motorcycle on a Yamaha Tracer 2015 however STRICLTY with safety gear, i have spare helmet and gloves but you will need good shoes gloves, and clothes..

There is space for 5 including myself. Truck is equipped with survival, hot cold weather, food, fridge, warmer, tents sleeping bags, inflatable bed , first aid, solar batteries charging for off grid for all our gadgets , kayak, bike carrier , GPS, 12v Shower for extreme camping and water requirements.. Even music and dvds! Options are 1*bike rack and 1*kayak with more to be added in 2015. The truck is my favourite tool for exploring running close to a good back pack and a piece of old rope!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Perhaps Its fair 'life' has served me with a very extreme '' healthy'' dose of adversity for a spoilt human born who popped out of a Pussy in the UK, this inherently gave me opportunities 70% world does not get by default. I know however adversity comes in many different lights and shades and crucially it's relative adverse regardless of where you are born. ... Through all my adversity experience of , illness, loss of family, colleges and friends, it is nothing compared to some others on planet earth ... Yet I have kept my soul, my spirit growing and free, on a path of true north in accordance with its natural vibrations (as much as is possible in this crazy world) ...Probably against all the odds .. Somehow, I am still here alive .. loving it..ALL!! The light shinning brightly on the masses , the dark the ugly and beautiful.... IT'S Ouuuuuttttragous!!
