About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am a starving artist striving to be full!

ABOUT ME

About me...I was born in Sydney, Australia but I am a mix of English/ Irish/Chinese Malaysian / Norwegian. Yes quite a mix! I spent ten years of my life working outdoors as a bush regenerator - which is basically forest restoration, restoring remnant bushland back to its natural state. This was physically hard work so I decided to move into the arts and went to art school, following a dream that I have had since I was young, but never had the courage to go through with. I then moved into a more arts related field, yet still environmental, working for a Reuse Centre in Sydney. Since then I have also conducted various community art related workshops.
Currently I am in Montréal, Canada taking my last chance to do a working holiday visa and experiencing the world outside of the island at la fin du monde (Australia).
But there is obviously more to life than work! But... where to begin without writing a book?

PHILOSOPHY

its the vibe of the thing!

Music, Movies, and Books

too many to mention...I love anything by Jim Jarmusch but my favourite favourite film is Black Cat White Cat by Emir Kusturica.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Running from an antarctic storm approaching "the end of the world", the most south tip of Tasmania. Wild country!
Making it back to Cockle Creek and ending up sick as a dog from the storm. But now experiencing a Québec winter and realizing I could be ten times colder than that!
