I am originally from the beautiful North Eastern part of India where I grew up. I moved to the New York state 5 years back for school and have been living in the Rochester, NY area starting June 2015, where I work full time.

I am back to school part time starting January 2018, and hence not travelling much now. 2016 and 2017 were the years when I traveled extensively. I have been to many cities and national and state parks in the United States. I have been to NYC, Washington DC, Chicago, Atlantic City, New Orleans, San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas to name a few of them. About parks, I have been to Zion, Grand Canyon, Watkins Glenn, Letchworth, Alleghany and many others.

The two most interesting things I have done in the US is hiked the Angels landing at Zion National Park and sky dived over the Keys in Florida!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here to make new friends while travelling. I travelled extensively in the United States in the year 2016, and was planning to go to Europe in 2017, but it didn't happen. Back to school part time in 2018, and so not much traveling this year. I would love to interact with local people who can guide me good places to see when I am in their city, and at the same time make new friends with them.

Interests

I am interested in seeing new places as and when time permits. I love to go hiking to places nearby the area where I live or in the places where I am visiting. About photography, I am still using my mobile phone camera, but I brought a DSLR in 2016 and got some amazing shots over the years.
