Budget backpacking 24 yr old Englishman pledges to be perfect guest for anyone willing to help him journey across Canada/USA this summer. Will do my absolute best to be everything you hope for in a couchsurfing experience and nothing you fear.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I ever couchsurfed was in Montreal, Canada, where a local student allowed me, without my ever asking, to stay in her apartment with three friends, while she went away, so long as we took care of the cat. For a week. She set a high standard.

The first time I ever hosted was awful. A silent, possibly mute, young German guy who came to stay with absolutely no interest in the local area other than following us around for three days whilst appearing to enjoy nothing. He taught me what not to do.

I'm afraid I've been instilled with far too much British reserve to fill in these sections. What do you put here? I sky-dived once. I have never swum with dolphins.
