ABOUT ME

Angy is a Social Justice/Philosophy student who loves unschooling two beautiful children (girl,5 & boy,1). She is looking forward to getting certified as a yoga instructor, likes volunteering in her community, loves quiet days indoors reading and cooking (when it's cold) and loud outdoor activities (when it's warm).

Johnny is a Philosophy/Film Studies student who loves skateboarding, writing, reading, gaming, watching tv and movies of all sorts and being unintentionally the funniest person you'll ever meet (if you're into his type of humor I suppose).

The kids love whatever is going on around them, pokemon, ghibli films, music, dancing, and general craziness. We are not a conventional family. We respect the children as people, so we expect our guests to do the same.

PHILOSOPHY

Stopped trying to live 5 years ahead, 1 year ahead, 1 month ahead, 1 week ahead, 1 day at a time, and started living each moment as if it is eternal. Being mindful of the world and being self aware.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've only been guests thusfar and it was unbelievably pleasant. This is not about a free place to stay, it's about getting to know great people, making memories and friends around the world.

Interests

Angy: Social/environmental causes, unschooling, attachment parenting, politics, swimming, roller blading, urban window gardening, vegan baking/cooking, religions, healing, singing, and loving.

Johnny: Comedy, Film, good television always gets canceled, popular culture, skateboarding, breakdancing, graphic novels, philosophizing, guitar, and insomnia.

Kids: Music, dance, conversation, inquiry, gameboy advance, love, creation, laughing, playing, and deep thought.
