ABOUT ME

I like to hike and be outside in nature. Spending time with friends is important or going to a workshop and learning something new. I like to explore new places, discover the culture embracing the differences and find familiarity with the similarities.I am interested in the arts especially the music scene. I was born in Malaysia and have traveled to many places, growing up in earlier years in London England.

PHILOSOPHY

Discovering and working through the aspects of my personality that keep me from a courageous and loving heart is an on going journey for me, but I prevail and sometimes moments of sheer beauty arises, either through a conversation with another or my eyes truly appreciate grace of a shade giving tree.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would say I am thoughtful and energetic. I love the outdoors and I care about the Earth.. probably call me an environmentalist. I love books about people's experience out in the wilderness, ways that they have moved through challenges, experienced and expressed their appreciation for the planet and all the creatures on it!

Interests

I love yoga, being outdoors, swimming, playing tabla drums and singing. I also love conversations with others of similar interest. I have an earnest passion about preserving nature.. It's sad that the bees are disappearing but I plant non gmo seeds to attract the bees and hope they can survive.
I love reading and and hearing live music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to Chile and walking through the Torres del pine. The mountains were spectacular. Traveling through Tanzania and going to the serengeti and observing the wild life. Sky diving in Aspen Colorado. Living in Ethiopia. Dancing to tribal rhythmic music. Crying and laughing for the sheer joy of being alive and knowing that are others that share your passion.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think people have the capacity to be truly great. Greatness to me is resolving issues of pain whether it come in form of anger, judgement, a bad childhood, to find ways to connect from the heart. Just an exchange of a smile, a gentle manner, a passion for something shared with another.
