Hi there! I'm a Polish Canadian girl embarking on a new journey of wellness and discovery. I was a social worker for six years and while I loved connecting and supporting others, I lost a bit of myself doing the work. I love travelling and have a dream to live in Europe for a period of time. So as of January 25th, I've been living in London! I plan to be here for a few months and then go to Poland, where I was born, to spend time with my family and immerse myself in the language. I love helping and making a difference for others, whether it's through a conversation, a smile or making a delicious meal that fills them up :)

Interessi

My interests vary and can contradict each other at times-I love to live a healthy, holistic lifestyle with meditation, grounding exercises, being in nature...and then I love trying new microbrew beers and dancing to the early hours of the morning! I'm quite curious and my social work background suits my general habit to ask a lot of questions...please stop me if you feel interrogated! I just love to know about people, what matters to them and what makes them tick.

Musica, film e libri

I used to love reading fantasy novels but the last few years I've gotten into a habit of reading books related to my work-addiction, trauma, etc. My coworkers forbid me to bring some of these books on my trip (thank goodness for my Kindle...)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I've completed Tough Mudder twice! After the first time I said I would never do it again...however that quickly changed two years later when my coworkers asked me to do it again. But a third time... no way! I most recently also completed the West Coast trail-76 km, 70 ladders and a heck of a lot of mud! Kind of like Tough Mudder...It was amazing :)

My great listening ear ;) It kind of comes with the work that I do... however I love to try to new things, discuss ways that people take care of themselves to be as healthy as possible, and am a great adventure partner! I would love to try some hikes if anyone is interested?
