Hey,
I am 20 years and live currently in New York. Originally I come from Germany where I grew up with two amazing brothers and loving parents. My family means everything to me. An other important part of me are my friends. I love to hand out with them no matter what we are doing, I know it always gonna be a lot of fun.
At the moment I am working as an Au Pair in Larchmont NY.
I came here to explore the United States. I love to travel!
I would describe myself as open- minded, very friendly, helpful, fair, down-to-earth, sensitive, energetic in a positive sence, balanced, determined and ambitious.
When I get back to Germany I will start to study, what exactly? I have no idea.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

For me Couch surfing is a great opportunity to travel and get to know new people. Since Im a little kid my parents took me and my brothers on vacations. Traveling is in my blood. For my age I think I can say I already saw a lot but its not enough. I want to explore everything and go everywhere. But I do not only want to explore the typical trousit sights. I made the experience that most of the times the locals have way more beautiful spots. Thats why Couchsurfing is amazing. You are staying with hosts who knows all about their city and the special places one has to see. Also you get closer to the culture when you stay at a private home than in a hotel.
Additional I love to get to know new people and hear about their stories.
Of course I can not deny that it is also great that it is for free and since I dont have that much money a hughe plus.

Interessen

What I really love to do very much in my free time is to play soccer. I have a girls team for five years now. I like it to do teamsports.
Another passion of mine is reading. Books are wonderful. The more pages the better the book. When I read I feel like plunging into a new world.
Other hobbies of mine are running, playing volleyball, biking, snowboarding and skiing, singing (but my brothers always complain that I am not good at it), dancing, swimming, horse riding and fitness. So one can say I love it to move and to be outside in the sun. In general I love the nature, sun and heat.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favorite movie is easy, I LOVE Pirates of the Caribbean! By now I am able to speak every single line. Johnny Depp is simply amazing!
However when it comes to a favorite book it gets a little more difficult. Earlier I loved to read Inkheart by Cornelia Funke but now I think it is rather Teerose.
When it comes to music I do not have a favorite. It does not matter which genre the song is, every genre has some songs I like and some I dont. So I listen to all kind of music.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

9 month ago I came all on my own to the United Stated to stay here for a year.
It was the best decision I made so far. I got to know so many great new people, made lots of new experiences, saw beautiful new places and became much more independent.
