About Me

CURRENT MISSION

be happy

ABOUT ME

I´m positive, curious, sometimes very direct and energetic usually also in the morning, which not everyone enjoys. I can be super talkative and if I annoy you with too much "once in the park, in Bolivia" just tell me so. Sometimes I´m also quite, depends on my mood and the people.

Many times I just do what I feel like. That´s why I bought a one-way ticket to Uruguay, why I didn´t study in Australia, stayed 2 years instead of 6 months in Latinamerica, almost stayed forever in Ecuador and got tattoed and pierced in Bolivia and stayed there 6 months illegal.
I can get annoyed with myself sometimes, but I come along.

I have a birth mark on my nose, big flat feet and a too long tongue. Just a normal weirdo like all of us.

I like sports, especially swimming and biking and also cooking and eating, sometimes a little too much. :D

I´m very close-minded and hate travelling. I think it´s something awful and dangerous.

I like Irony and humour.

PHILOSOPHY

Damn, stop feeling sorry for any person you see while your travelling "because they poor", start talking to them and see how rich they are and that we just all the same with the same fears and feelings, not depending on where you are from and how much money you have.
Needed to be said.

If you stop dreaming, you stop living.

Happiness is only real when it's shared.

Couchsurfing people I have met?
Can't count anymore.

Interests

The wind that touches my face.
The sand, earth and pebbles I feel under my feet.
The waves that break at my body.
The random people I meet on the streets.
The singing of the birds while reading a book in a hammock.
Walking with a friend through the middle of nowhere without saying a word, enjoying the moment and having a picnic after a long walk.
Or just singing under shower.
Also politics, the world, myself, the environment, swimming and biking. :)

Music, Movies & Books

Music: e.g. Calle 13, Manu Chao, Pearl Jam, Eddie Vedder, Explosions in the Sky, Gustavo Santoalla, Tracy Chapman, Inti Illimani, Peter Fox, Patrice, Gentleman, Prem Joshua... depends on the moment!

Books: true stories or good novels, e.g. A long way gone, The Kite Runner, Shantaram, Brave New World, 1984, Paulo Coelho and many more

I´m not watching a lot of movies, just every now and then with friends. I´m not a big science fiction fan. I´ve never seen Star Wars. A friend forced me to see all parts of Lord of the Rings, I fell asleep and don´t remember. (Yes, it´s true! I hope some of you still want to host me now.)

One Amazing Thing I've Done

Machu Picchu, the Andes, celebrating the Virgen del Carmen festival in Paucartambo, a trip with some Hippies to a secret Lagoon trough the moutains in the North of Argentina, Luxor, hitchhiking 8 days from Ecuador to Santiago de CHile sleeping at the back of a beer truck getting almost froozen in Victoria in the desert in 3000m altitude y MAS ;)

Walking a Puma in the Jungle, Being part of a group of Spider Monkeys and taking care of a Baby Ocelot.

The people I have met, are the wonders of my world.
