我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I joined to share what I know about my great city, and to meet like minded travelers to go out with and discover hidden gems in NYC! Also, when I travel abroad its good to have a friend :) I have met many people who have couchsurfed and they always had good things to say, so I figure I'd join in the fun!

I'm really into anime and scifi (Battlestar Galactica and Ghost in the Shell are my favorites). As far as movies, I like documentaries and, of course scifi.

Music: I have a very eclectic taste in music, most of the time my iPod is on shuffle. Mostly I like Hip Hop, Reggae, Jazz, Rock, and sometimes I'm in the mood for house/electronic.

Books: Too many to list! But my all time favorites are Catch 22 and Manchild in the Promised land.

I went to China for two months, without speaking any Chinese and by myself! Its amazing how much you learn about yourself when plunged into totally different circumstances.

I know NYC pretty well, I can help you get around and see the "must see" stuff. I can also show you less known parts of the city that not many tourists usually see, unless you know locals ;)
