Lets start with a few basics. I am Dimitra, a 33 year old girl who decided to leave Athens 7 years ago, as i wanted to get to know the world a little bit better:).
I am currently living in Berlin where i studied and now I work as a satellite Engineer. If you know what Geodesy is, congratulations, you have just earned yourself a beer ( or wine or tsipouro ...or whatever, you name it!).

I would describe myself as an easy-going, relaxed but an active and shy person who loves to see and try new things.
I am more focused on the nature side, I would like to hike and camp more and appreciate the hidden gems of our beautiful world.
Additionally, I enjoy visiting exhibitions and museums particularly of historical context.

On my free time i like to spend time with my friends, reading, gaming, exploring the surroundings of Berlin (when the weather permits so), exercising and overall keeping active. You know normal everyday stuff. Dont get me wrong there is nothing bad about that.
However, i believe for the more unusual and interesting stuff one has to discover them in person and not from a few lines from an online profile :)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

First of all, because CS provides an easy way to meet openminded people from all over the world who dont care about where you come from or how you look like but who you are. People who love to travel, explore and that enjoy sharing moments and experiences. On top of that, I really admire and respect people who are helping others, open their homes and a part of their world, and offer their time unconditionally.

I have known and used couchsurfing for some time now and so far I can only say the best for people that I have met through this platform

Intereses

i love:
traveling, to cook and eat (yes sometimes at the same time, dont judge!), reading, hiking, biking, exploring, enjoy the little things, the Sun, videogames, animals, nature, yoga, training, music, respectful and honest people.

Interested in: Volunteering, politics, psychology, religion, science, space, nature, life. If interested we could have some nice, late night (mostly) conversations:)

i dislike:
racism, sexism, homophobia, judgmental and rude people. Also people who cant laugh at themselves and cannot take on a joke.
Oh, also people who dont like animals... because c mon, how can one resist to a puppy?:D

Music: Mostly hardcore, nu-metal, rock,trip hop, downtempo, industrial, psytrance
My playlist usually starts very different from what will finish to:P

Movies/series : One flew over the Cockoo's Nest, Clockwork orange, The Green Mile, Lord of the Rings, 7 Samurai, Brazil, Black mirror, Bojack Horseman - are a few amongst many.

Writers/books: Last few years I m reading more about the exploration of the mind, society and politics. A few of the writers i ve read books from are Yalom, Kamy, Freud, Nitze, Stoic philosophers.
