ABOUT ME

It's hard to describe oneself but i can describe how others have described me before.
A lot of people tell me they feel calm around me, i dont like to stress and am quite laid back and like to take the day as it comes, still in a very responsible mannor. I'm a good listener and love to hear and share stories with others. Once i was described as a fat woman trapped in a skinny womans body, I love the goods of life and love trying new foods especially in different cultures.
Travelling is a passion i havn't expereinced enough, there is soo much i want to see and soo many places i want to visit and as a recent descoverer of this site i find this the perfect way for me as i'm not keen on the typical tourist places. I want to experience the real places and meet the locals, that's when it becomes exiting for me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment my main interrest is to travel.
I might be able to host but cant decide it on my own as i'm living with my boyfriend, but feel free to send a request. Otherwise i'm up for a Swedish "fika" (coffe) and a chat or perhaps a tour around Stockholm :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed 2 couches so far, both in Annecy, France. My hosts were fantastic, i really feel they could be friends for life, hoping to see them again at another visit to Annecy.
I havn't hosted anyone myself yet but had coffe and have planned to see more people for coffes soon.

Interests

I'm an animation geek!! And love movies, series, music, going to concerts, cinema, dancing Lindy Hop, travelling, seeing new places, meeting new people, experiencing new things, seeing old places and meeting old friends, get into deep conversations, rolling around, try learning mandolin, practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu, biking, climbing, eating yummy things and just enjoying life. (... and the list goes on!)

This list could go on forever so i'll just select a few:

Amongst my favorit directors are Brad Bird, Sylvain Chomet, Darren Aronofsky, Tarantino, Lynch and Guillermo del toro. It's hard to choose A movie but some of the best ones i know are Old Boy, Up, Monsters inc, Bellevielle rendez vous, Nocturna, Pans Labyrinth, lady killers, Amores peros and Inglorious Basterds.

I got a broad taste in music but currently i got Fleet foxes, Aloe Blacc, Dylan, Bowie, 17 Hippies, Nina Simone, the National and Yeasayer amongst others on my spotify.

I love books and always read when i'm travelling, at the moment i'm reading Sepulchre by Kate Mosse and Memoirs by Bob Dylan but my alltime favorit book so far is Yes Man by Danny Wallace.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I moved to Dublin when i was 19 to study animation, i loved the city and found the people incredibly open and welcoming.

I made a road trip with friends fron Middlesbrough (northern England to Annecy (French alpes), it was an unforgettable journey.

Last summer i made a trip to Annecy again, this time on my own, it was my first couch surfing experience. An experience i will never forget and i will tell the story to my grandchildren one day, probably a lot of times untill they get sick and tired of hearing it saying "grandma you already told us!" and i would respond "i have?" and 2 min later i would have forgotten all about it and start telling the story again ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I have a lot of knowledge in animation, film making and art. As i'm swedish i could teach anyone that is interrested in learning languages. And as a martialartist i could also teach some self defence.

Learn: languages (I'm especially interrested in Portugese and Spanish), cooking, dancing and all sorts of fun stuff you got to offer.

Share: experiences, stories, knowledge and a great time.
