This is Anir. I am originally from India, but have been staying in North America for last ~9 years, for work and study. I just completed my grad studies in Canada, and wanted to visit South America before going back home - so in Dec 18/Jan 19 I'm visiting Lima!
My background is in Software Technologies, but am now a wannabe game designer and hobbyist writer. Always up for expanding my horizons, meeting new people and learn from them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Primarily to meet fellow travelers and make friends.
I just joined Couchsurfing while In Lima. I don't have any particular plans here- mostly to explore and learn (while also working as a digital nomad partly). I am looking to meet new people, take part in the exchange of culture and ideas and improve my Spanish a bit!

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch all kinds of movies/films; and some favorite ones are: Good Will Hunting, A Few Good Men, Finding Forrester, Wonder Boys, Forrest Gump, Pulp Fiction, many of the ghibli and pixar movies , and many many others!
A large number of my favorite books are science fiction and mystery with my favourite authors being Heinlein, Le Guin and Asimov. Some other books include Ninteen Eighty Four, Catch 22, Zend and the art of Motorcycle Maintenance, The Emperor's New Mind, and many others in many languages. Recently became a fan of Liu Cixin.
When listening to music I'm expansive - recently trying fusion, soft electronic and other instrumental music.
