About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Starting on a 1 year (maybe longer) trip to Europe starting May 2014. Starting out with an open mind and finite wallet. Will look for work in London when the wallet gets light.

ABOUT ME

I have an open and intrepid mind, I'm not likely to say no to much and like being thrown into the deep end. Not a massive partier, prefer to chill out, soak in and explore the place I'm at, that doesn't mean I don't like to get down once in a while.

PHILOSOPHY

Give it a go

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate in everything wholeheartedly and love to learn new things.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm very new to couchsurfing!

Interests

I love history, food (both cooking and eating), music (ranges from Jazz, to classic rock, to hip hop and Radiohead, the greatest band ever), biking, camping, gardening and fishing (though I've never actually fished before)

I'm travelling because I want to learn what life is like outside the world I've been brought up in, and would love nothing more than to be totally immersed in your world.

Music, Movies, and Books

Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Queens of the Stoneage, the Beatles, Flying Lotus, Tyler the Creator, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Fela Kuti, John Coltrane etc etc etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Flicked a towel and knocked 7 flies out of the air at once. It's hard to top that achievement, but I've also para-glided in Pokhara Nepal with a full view of the Annapurna mountains. Amazing

Teach, Learn, Share

I can play the guitar, ukulele, bass and am trying to sing a little better. Would love to learn the piano in return for a guitar lesson (I'm trying to teach myself but have reached a wall)

I would like to learn how to fish and hunt.

I can speak scrappy German and would love to improve. I would love to learn a bit of French or Spanish while I'm abroad.
