ABOUT ME

I am a muslim malay girl and I want to get to know the world. I loooove travelling and learning new cultures, meeting new people, trying out new languages. I have just completed my medical degree in Nottingham and will be starting work as a junior doctor soon. I have been living in Nottingham for 5 years now. I eat Halal food. And I hope you won't be too surprised if I make one or two pitstops to do my routine prayers of the day!

To put it frankly and simply, I live life to please only Allah. And that means to live it to the fullest and be the best to myself and others around me.

I am graduating soon so will not have a permanent place to stay for a short while. So I can't host just yet. But hope to do lots of surfing! :D

I've only just heard about CS two days ago so I really don't have any in this department, am afraid. ;)

Interests

I really...REALLY enjoy cycling, horse riding, walking or just simply being out in breathtaking nature.

I love food. And pleasant people.

I play squash for fun. And that's honestly why I rarely win a match.

I am also currently very interested in learning Quranic arabic.

Music, Movies, and Books

I had to look at my book rack for this one. I love my Harry Potters! And I find myself watching Everybody Loves Raymond and rom-coms when out to do hospital attachments in the middle of nowhere. So I guess I must like them?

My favourite book for now is an old book by Leopold Weiss (Muhammad Asad) called The Road to Mecca. Very clever thoughts and careful observations.

Music? 90s! and some of Buble's lately.

Hmm...did you know road traffic accidents are the number one killer of tourists abroad? So, a thousand times more important that getting those vaccinations before you travel, make sure you drive safe! ;)
