I currently live in Memmingen, Germany, where I teach English. I have also lived in Brisbane, Australia where I was born and grew up and in London for 4 years where I got to meet lots of wonderful people from all over the world and travel to amazing places and in the process taste fabulous food! Some of my favourite that I've travelled to are Egypt, Turkey and Cambodia for the blow-your-mind kind of factor, but Spain will always be one of my favourite places to travel, love the food, music, people, landscape and culture. I also love finding off the beaten track hidden gems, like when I stumbled across the gorgeous Ljubljana because my friend and I decided to take a chance on wherever was the cheapest place to fly back to London from and we struck gold!

When I travel I love to meet new people and especially locals who can point out the hidden secrets of their area, as I loved to do for people who visited Brisbane and now Memmingen!

I love tasting different food from around the world and enjoy cooking as well. Even better if I manage to use something I've grown in my garden.

I love music and will listen to pretty much anything but prefer to avoid anything too heavy/hardcore. I particularly love anything acoustic and/or that's good to dance to. I love going to see live shows, whether it's a good local band, a festival or a musical on the West End and always open to recommendations. I also love to play guitar and sing. Too many movies to mention, but I am a sucker for a good Romcom.

As an English teacher I am always happy to help people learn and/or practice English and I am equally happy to try to learn other languages as well, particularly German at the moment, but would also love to improve my little bit of Spanish and open to learning other languages.
