Here are some recommendations for you (1)elephant mountain around 25 mins hiking to watch sunset and over looking the view!At MRT read line (2) C. K. S. memorial hall at MRT green line (3)Wulai to have a hot sparing and walk around and have a coffee..food ..relaxing!you could take MRT Green Line to last station Xindian and transfer bus from there around 30 mins to Wulai. (4)maokong which is located in mountain you could go there have a tea or food and look over the view! MRT Brown line to Taipei Zoo station and from there you could take cable car to Maokong. All this destinations are easy to access by MRT and connected to bus! Some even just by MRT. Or you may also like to go to jioufen, where you could have tradition taiwanese food and market, also views. By bus from Taipei central around 1 and half hour. I think you could easy to get the information for all this destinations! It would take you to many destinations and get on and off to the places you like.
