Hey there,
My name is Anita. I am from Austria, living in a small town in Lower Austria directly on side of the Danube Cycle Path.
I'm currently working in Vienna - so, I have to get up very early (hosting during the week is quite a challenge)
Based on my own experiences abroad I know how important it is to rely on locals. I spent six months in Canada and traveled from east to west and up to Alaska on my own. I love to be on the move and travel as often as I can to places I have never been before.
Also, I love to meet new people from all over the world and get to know other cultures. I like to do outdoor sports, like biking, hiking, running, skiing,... Another great passion of mine is photographing - sitting in the nature and waiting for sunrise, sunset or just for some animals.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

During my travel adventures I've heard a lot of stories of couchsurfing. Most of the time I am sleeping in a car or a tent, so I have never tried - but for sure I will do soon.
I am also pleased to give someone the opportunity to stay overnight, and looking forward to interesting and funny lifetime stories.

I love Alternative Music, Indie Rock, Folk Rock, and so on. My favorite bands are The Lumineers, Mumford and Sons, Band of Horses, Biffy Clyro, The Black Keys, Bear's Den, Glen Hansard and many more!
I like all kind of books and stories but most of all I love to read travel diaries from crazy adventurers.

Spending 7 weeks in a car alone - I used that car as bedroom, living, room, kitchen, office, bathroom, and of course for transportation - It was the BEST TIME in my Life :-)
