My name is Anita Yu, I am a recent graduate (’18) from UC Davis, and I'm passionate about connecting with diverse people. I had my own radio show in college and I was the president of Davis Filmmaking Society, writing, producing, and managing student films. I graduated college early and now I'm looking for work, and myself I guess. In my free time, I like to play online Dungeons and Dragons. I learned how to play in college and now I have a great time meeting a lot of different people through playing it online!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a nerd/weeb who loves reading manga and graphic novels and movies! I don't really have favorites, but I'm currently reading a couple of fascinating graphic novel series: "Sex Criminals", "The Wicked + Divine", and "Manifest Destiny". I also love Scott McCloud's series of "Understanding Comics".

I recently watched "Death of Stalin" and it was AMAZING and hilarious movie!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In college, I was a host and producer of a radio show called "Otaku Here Now". As a radio producer, I actively sought and established relationships with many individuals and groups within the Davis community. I got to interview many different kinds of people, from dance groups to store managers, and I got to cover SacAnime Con for free on a press pass!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a great conversationalist with a curiosity that makes me down to try anything. I can cook. I'm very adaptable, and very neat.
