ABOUT ME

Hello profile reader,

Not sure how you stumbled here but you did :) My name is Anita and I am originally from Varna, Bulgaria. I moved to the UK just over 10 years ago to study my BA in International Studies and have since lived in England, Spain, The Netherlands and Chile. I love travelling, working on my 'next destination' list and when I am not ...meeting a sample of the international people who have chosen to visit or live in London - luckily enough - truly one of the most culturally diverse places I have been to.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started using CS when I first arrived in Chile - for a research project for my masters. The hospitality and kindness of the Chilean users convinced me that there are some people out there definitely worth meeting. Back in London now, I don't currently have a couch to offer but will do in a few months and will be glad to receive some of you world travellers. Until then, we can meet for a drink and to see some of the hidden gems London has to offer. The Buckingham palace is easy enough to find but not all great places here are!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I joined the website during in my fieldwork in Chile, January 2013, following some good recommendations from friends. I was touched by the hospitality my new found friends showed me and had some great experiences on my travels. I hope to be able to return this by making someone's stay in Amsterdam fun and rewarding.

Interests

I love traveling and learning new languages. I am also an avid photography fan whilst currently trying to master my new Lumix G3. Tennis, surfing and dancing are amongst other of my favorite things.

I will be more than happy to teach English or practice with you if you are trying to improve. I can also teach Bulgarian if there are enthusiasts.
I am currently learning Spanish and need to practice mucho mas!
We share everything - within reason :)
