ABOUT ME

My description of myself...God, I hate this! I'm open, honest, nice, genuine, hard-working, introspective, sometimes REALLY stupid...then again sometimes REALLY smart (I don't know which one wins out). My friends would tell you that I'm always happy...really...ALWAYS...this isn't necessarily always said as a compliment. I have an upbeat personality and would definitely be described as a 'glass is actually full' optimist. I like to consider life as an adventure to be lived to the fullest..I never was a cheerleader type in high school, but I seem to find myself in the morale building and 'cheerleading' role often in life. I'm the one people come to when they 'don't know who else they can talk to.' Oh, yeah, I'm not a gossip. I'm just a real person working hard to be a good person...not always succeeding, but trying really hard nonetheless.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My last 'participation' was singing the alphabet song for a fund raiser spelling bee. I wore a full sequined and beaded gown and sang ala Whitney Houston's national anthem. Wish I had video or recording to attach! It was a hoot!

I'm very active...love cross-fit and yoga. I work at a fine dining restaurant, so I'm kind of a foodie, and can't say no to a good glass of wine (or bourbon). In my past I sang professionally...rock, jazz, cabaret, musical theatre and opera...but only dabble in it now. I love science, but never could get the math, only the concepts. My musical and movie tastes are a bit schizophrenic. Music: Meatloaf, Tape Five, Club des Belugas, Heart, Christina Aguilera. Movies: Horror, Historical Fiction, Action, Smart Comedy. I enjoy learning and experiencing, and believe there's nothing wrong with taking risks as long as you cover your ass! :-)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Spent 3 1/2 weeks in France once. In the Loire Valley I stayed in the Chateau Chissay and watched the July fireworks from the tower window. Magical!!!
