ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm Annie. After an amazing year of rambling from New Orleans to a Buddhist retreat center to San Francisco to South America, I decided to come back to my hometown of Denver to rest and create my life. I still have an intense travel bug and I have an eventual plan to backpack through South America for a year or so, but for now, I'm kickin it in Denver and am loving it! I have a whole lot of love for my hometown and enjoy showing the hidden gems to visitors. I am also am looking forward to connecting with like-minded people who dwell in this beloved city.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was living in Buenos Aires earlier this year, the people I met through Couchsurfing created my life. I found my roommate, one of my best friends, and a wonderful Spanish teacher through CS. I attended many CS events and parties in BsAs and loved the people that I met and the experiences that I had. Now that I am back in my hometown, I want to share my city with others and connect with this community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The CS group for BsAs advertised a Full Moon party in a city park. There was a bonfire, fire dancers, meditators, and bongo drums and it was incredible. I had some very provocative conversations there and made some lifelong friends :)

I'm not so good with pop culture - I watch very little tv because it usually hurts my brain. I'm a total music person and am particularly into reggeaton, hip hop, reggae dancehall, folk, and bluegrass. My current love is for Calle 13, Manu Chau, MC Yogi, and Nicki Minaj.
