ABOUT ME

I am an optimistic person who believes A smile solves every trouble! :) I grew up in Chengdu, the best city in China, (if you are a food lover:P). Studied in upstate New York, USA. Exchanged one semester in Budapest, Hungary, and totally fell in love with Europe. Now I am studying at the University of St.Andrews, Scotland for my master's! I am a very easygoing and flexible person! I can party hard, you know, like really hard, haha but usually am more laid-back and would just like to chill at home, enjoy an easy night with friends! I am always keen on meeting new people and sharing life stories. I believe everyone is unique that we can share laughs together with. I like being creative and brave to try out new things. Life is so interesting that I am always excited to explore more. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend took me couchsurf with many hosts before i actually signed up for my account. All the hosts i met so far are super awesome!!! All interesting, cool and fun people. They became party of the story of my life ever since, this is really unforgettable experience. It directly encouraged me to get my own account and explore more on couchsurfing!

Interests

I have a lot of hobbies. Traveling is definitely one of the most important methods to shape my life. Meeting people and experiencing different cultures spark my life and gift me what i could never get from just sitting at home. Travels make my mind. Besides, I also like watching movies, collecting postcards, magnets and pins. I loooove cooking. Making good food calms my mind. I enjoy handcrafts and a lot of random stuff. I just started to learn ukulele by myself lately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a crossing country road trip in the U.S (winter 2013). Drove from NYC to San Francisco, nearly 5000 miles, crossed over 20 states.
I just finished my first hitchhiking and couchsurfing experience in Germany. Hitchhiked from Frankfurt up north to Berlin.
