We are Anja and Matej from Slovenia. Matej is 18 years old and is going to study chemical engineering in Ljubljana in Slovenia. I am 19 and I am going to study Mathematics and Computer science in the UK.

Matej is very passionate about football, especially when his favourite club (Manchester United) is playing. He also likes to ride a bike and jog, even though only occasionally. I like to read a good book and I sometimes do crafting, such as knitting or lace making. I also enjoy learning new languages and finding similarities between them.

Together we like to bake, take a walk or play a board game. We also find joy in dancing as we have been taking dancing lessons for quite a while now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting people from different parts of the world. It’s so interesting to see the differences between the cultures and at the same time how similar we all are.
