Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To get the local experience and save money on expensive hotels. I've travelled all over the world and prefer to stay in people's homes or rent my own home. Not a big fan of hotel atmospheres

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in laos for 1 year and taught English to monks and Lao children. Visited local village and cooked food over an open fire. Farmed rice on a local wet rice farm. I was the first foreign to have done that there.
