ABOUT ME

Woooow well here's a bit about me, i was born in Sweden but i've moved around a bit. I went to a european school in Mol in Belgium, where i had french first language. After 12 years in Belgium i moved to England where i lived in Brighton for 3 years studying!

Brighton is an amazing city, it's fun, original, kinda quirky with small streets with tiny little shops. It's full of all kinds of amazing people!
I've been really involved in the student movement against the cuts to education that are happening at sussex university, all over england (and the world...), as well as against all these cuts to the public sector. I like to be involved, i like talking politics, especially when drunk :P and i'll be honest if you vote tory we might not get along so well.

Apart from political involvement i like lots of stuff. I love sports, i've played volleyball for almost 12 years in loads of different teams. I've done Integrated Martial Arts for a couple of years, like a mix of brazilian jiu jiutsu, judo, muay thai, karate, with lots of self defense. It's empowering and so much fun!

I love learning, i love meeting people who are good at completely different things than me, who know things i don't know anything about! I'm always so impressed and fascinated when people are really good at something i'm really NOT good at, and i hope that's one thing i'll get a lot of when i'm couch surfing and traveling!

I'm kinda geeky, it has to be said. If you've stuck through this description of me until here, bare with me now. I love science, talking and learning about it, cells and proteins and molecules and diseases and cures and the human body and mind. neurology, pathology, epidemiology, virology etc etc.
I also like star wars, lord of the rings, harry potter, the matrix, science fiction, fantasy an so on.

I'm 22 and i'm a student, so i fit the cliché in that i like going out, going to pubs, having good nights out, dressing up in silly costumes (fairy wings devil horns plastic swords bunny ears bright green tutus viking horns, i've got lots :P), drinking too much, being unhealthy and generally being a bit lazy.

Anyway this is long enough. I hope it paints an accurate picture of what i'm like!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm fairly new to Couch Surfing, but i couch surfed in Washington DC and in San Francisco and had amazing hosts in both places. I also met up with lots of couchsurfers in San Francisco! This site brings together an amazing kind of people! I'm in Sydney now and i hope to meet more interesting people, for a coffee, a drink, whatever, it's an awesome way to get started when you've just gotten to a new place!

Obviously can't host now but when i'm back studying in Brighton i will definitely be up for hosting travelers and meeting new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Great barrier reef. Oh and i saw a shark and sea turtles (not at the same time) in Australia.
Hiked up to a glacier in Norway.
Flew in a helicopter.
Midnight sun.
Northern lights.
