I love traveling. It gives me joy and happiness from the moment I pack my bags until they get lost on the airplane. I'm kidding, luckily everything arrived eventually at my place again. Since I studied an international degree in London I have met the most amazing individuals from all around the world who I can call friends now. They invited me to their homes and I got to know their way of living - hence I want to give people the opportunity to have the same experiences. Update 2016: Unfortunately I currently live in students halls sharing a room with another girl, hence I believe other couch surfers in London will have better offers for you.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

So far I have always traveled to places where friends of mine are living. Couch surfing hence is relatively new to me. Not completely new, as I already stayed once in Lyon at a couch, but it's been a great night! Now I am looking forward to enhance this experience and hope to make even more friends around the world.

Interessen

My passion is sport: in particular Track&Field, Volleyball and Tennis. I love high- and long-jump and during my exchange year in America, I got to practice with the university varsity team, which was an awesome time.

Other than sports I've recently discovered many great books which I read when my job required me to travel on a plane throughout the U.S. The best one so far: The 100 year old men who jumped out of the window and disappeared. Such a laugher, from the first to the last page, it's so hilarious and absurd. Furthermore I've read the book from the woman which visited all countries on the world, with 46 years. I'm not sure I will be able to visit all countries by the age of 46, but it's definitely a motivation for life! Hence, any help offered is greatly appreciated.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

When I listen to Yann Tiersen I get goose bumps all over my skin. His music is connected to many memories I collected in my life so far. Hence my favorite movie is "Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain". Currently I am addicted to Tove Lo, her songs always make me happy when I have to drive long distances in the car. But I'm also a huge fan of Galantis and the German singer Casper.

I love the french movies - they have such a great humor, not comparable to any american movie, sorry. But american action movies are always a good choice too.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Before I entered the business world I ought to be a teacher in sports and spanisch. I had even passed all the entrance exam, but then I decided last minute to change plans, leave home two days after my high school graduation and set sails for London, where one year later I started studying business. The following year I got a scholarship to study in Atlanta, two years after Atlanta, I got a temporary job in NYC. Who thought that decision 5 years ago would change my world 180 degrees?

Lehren, lernen, teilen

By all means - I cannot cook. Not one single dish, even pasta just tastes like plastic when I cook it. Hence, if you can cook, please teach me. I've got great skills in cutting onions and other food you'll need for your dish!
