ABOUT ME

We are two outgoing Danish girls named Kristine (20 years old) and Anja (19 years old). We arrived in Australia the 13th of december and we're in Australia on a 6 months work and travel visa. In these 6 months we hope to see and expirince as much of australia as possible. So far we've seen a great part of Sydney, staying with an australian family (located in the southern part of Sydney) during christmas and new year. We went to a surfcamp, visited Canberra, did a bit of sightseeing in Melbourne and for the last week we've been working on a farm outside of Melbourne.

In Denmark we live together with our families in a small town near Ballerup in Denmark. We both gratuated high school in the summer of 2011, we've been in the same class for 3 years and through high school we have become such close friends that we decided to travel to Australia together in our sabbatical. Since school and vacation ended in June/July, we've been saving up money for our holidays, Kristine as a receptionist in a removal firm and Anja in a kinder garden. Plus we both have been working a couple of hours in the local supermarket during the weekends.
In our spare time we enjoy meeting our friends, watching movies at the cinema and reading a good book. We like doing sports like bicycling and jogging, mostly in the fitness center. We also love to travel, Kristine has been around the world, but until now Anja has only been in Europe, for example in Florence, Barcelona and Oslo. Kristine has visited many countries such as Canada, Borneo, Sri Lanka etc. We usually travel together with our families but we have been on ski holidays with our best friends from school. We both took school very seriously and want to use this year to get to know a new country and new people, before university calls in July 2012. It has always been a great dream of ours to go to another country after high school.
We are travelling with Work & Travel Company Australia which is going to help us during our stay in Australian.
