About Me
Hey there! I’m Pavan (Pa1) – Insta (@anjuri_pa1), a passionate traveler who believes the best way to experience a place is through its people. I love exploring new destinations on a budget, meeting locals, and immersing myself in different cultures.
Whether it’s wandering through hidden alleys, trying local food, or having deep conversations with strangers who turn into friends, I find joy in every journey. I mostly travel solo, as it gives me the freedom to go with the flow and truly soak in the experience.
I’m a Chartered Accountant by qualification, currently working as a Financial Analyst in Hyderabad, India. In my free time, you’ll find me watching travel content on Internet, planning my next adventure, or figuring out ways to make travel more affordable and meaningful.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travel isn’t just about places, it’s about people and their culture as well. I love meeting locals, experiencing destinations from their perspective, and sharing stories. Budget travel is my thing, and Couchsurfing allows me to not just save money but to build connections, exchange experiences, and learn from others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I completed the Everest Base Camp and Gokyo trek solo on a minimal budget in Nepal.
It was a physically and mentally challenging journey, but reaching those heights on my own gave me a deep sense of confidence, proving to myself that I can take on any challenge life throws my way.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I mostly help my friends and people with financial literacy and guide them on how to travel on a budget without missing out on great experiences.
Learn: I love learning from people, whether it’s their life philosophy, personal experiences, or valuable life lessons that shape their perspective.
Share: I enjoy sharing the knowledge I gain from traveling, from hidden gems to cultural insights, and exchanging stories and experiences with others.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help with minimal cooking, whether it’s preparing a simple dish or assisting in the kitchen.
I’m happy to exchange languages, helping with basic phrases or practicing a language my host is learning.
I love sharing and learning travel stories and tips, including budget travel hacks and financial insights that can help make trips more affordable.
I’m always glad to help with minimal tasks, whether it’s household chores or small errands, as long as it’s within my availability and strengths.
