ABOUT ME
I'm about to finish my Masters in Ottoman History. I live and study in Bamberg a beautiful medieval place in the south of Germany.
I'm passionate about 19th century travel literature, Turkish/Ottoman language and especially Ottoman history.
I just came back to Germany after a semester at Sorbonne University and ever since I can't decide whether Istanbul or Paris is the most amazing city ever.
PHILOSOPHY
Being mindful.

Interests
I did mention Turkey, didn't I? I'm definitly passionate about the subject of my studies. I'm curious and I love doing research.
I'm also interested in questions of identity and ethnicity, in current politics (not only Middle East-related). I enjoy learning languages, finding out about other cultures and ways of life and thinking. I love to travel. I could not live without books. I like Yoga and running.
