My name is Henry. I'm currently a senior at the University of Pittsburgh studying finance. I'm originally from Fairfax, Virginia, which is about 40 minutes outside of DC.

As of now I just plan on surfing. I'm a student so I still live life pretty frugally but hopefully once I get my own place and a couch I will be more open to hosting.

Interests

I love to travel. So far I've been to 3 countries in Europe and 2 countries in Asia. I'm always looking for an opportunity to travel again, especially as a student who has learned quite a few foreign languages, I am always looking for opportunities to improve my language skill. In addition to travelling I enjoy martial arts, swimming, cycling, gaming, and cooking. I love being outdoors and immersing myself in new experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - I listen to a lot of jazz and soul. I've pretty much found the one genre that encompasses my life and have stuck with it. I listen to it all the time - when I'm working, relaxing, at the gym, etc. It keeps me level-headed.

Movies - I'm a big fan of fighting films, sci-fi, fantasy, crime, and comedies. I also always love a good drama. I don't usually watch horror films but it really depends on the story. Tom Hanks is my all-time favourite actor. I will watch anything with him in it.

TV - Cooking shows, The Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Episodes, The Legend of Korra, Community, Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza, The History Channel, Discovery, Animal Planet, Cartoon Network.

Books - Sad to say, I don't read much other than business stuff and required readings. However I'm hoping to change that after graduation.

Food - Anything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first time travelling to Europe and first time travelling alone was in August 2011 when I visited Latvia, Sweden, and Norway. It was without doubt the most eye-opening experience I've ever had thus far.
