About Me

I am a solo cycle traveler. I have been in this journey for 5 years now. I left my regular life and job 5 years ago to start it and since then I have gone to 1000+ villages, worked and learnt with 600 families from each state, farmers, students, artistes, tribals, inspiring women and amazing people who hosted me without knowing about me.

There is a bigger reason for these travels—Love for the land and to understand who/what it is. Additionally, I travel to learn about our thousands of micro-cultures, wisdom of diverse crafts and indigenous ways, what can keep us whole and together despite differences, find ways to glue our communities in ways that enrich and awaken us for healthier ways to live in harmony.

We need to love the environment and stop the stupidity of destruction of all natural resources, to enjoy the various cultural ways that make us. And find innovative ways to integrate old and new, respect for all peoples and genders and all life on earth.

Interests

When I embarked on a bicycle journey through the length and breadth of the country, little did I know that the experience would open up a world of wonders for me. On the road, I discovered a new face of India — where organic farming flourished, alternate education system enlightened young minds in creative ways and kindness was a way of life.
My cycling journey is a life journey to meet the whole population of India and touch many lives through love and knowledge. As I pedal through dusty beaten tracks across India, I am hoping to soak in the myriad experiences that each State has to offer. From working at a dairy farm in Puducherry and making wooden sculptures in Maharashtra, making a cycle repair unit for villagers of a remote hamlet in Anantapur district, weaving khadi shirts to learning the 400-year-old wooden toy making art in Etikopakka, my journey has connected me with people in more ways than one.
