About Me
Hi! I'm a PhD student in Paleontology at Georgia Tech, which means I spend a lot of time thinking about life from millions of years ago. But when I’m not working with fossils, I like to keep life lively—I cook a fair number of Indian dishes, hit the gym regularly, swim, water ski when I can, and dance to Bollywood music when no one’s watching (or sometimes when they are!).
Music is my constant—I listen to a ton of it, across all kinds of genres. Always open to trading songs or stories behind them.
When I travel, I like to explore places immersively. I’m not just checking things off a list—I love understanding the history, the culture, and the “why” behind how a place became what it is today, whether it’s famous or totally off the radar.
I enjoy meeting people who are open, curious, and love sharing their world with others. Let’s swap stories over food, walks, or music!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, exploring a place is much more immersive when I can experience its culture, history, music, and food through the eyes of the people who live there. Couchsurfing gives me the chance to connect with locals, share stories, and understand the true rhythm of a place—something that’s hard to find in guidebooks or hotels. I believe meaningful travel comes from meaningful connections, and that’s exactly what I’m here for.

Music, Movies, and Books
appreciate a wide spectrum of music and movie genres. Although I haven’t been an avid reader so far, I’m trying to build the habit day by day. Two books I’ve really enjoyed are Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami and Almond by Sohn Won-pyung (translated from Korean).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Maintaining my own cookbook :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach interesting things about mass extinctions, how life have evolved through time and thier ecology.
I'm at Georgia Tech, so you can guess the Tech part (haha!)
I would love to learn anything ranging from arts, dance, history, music, cooking and Science
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook tasty Indian meals, share fun stories from my paleontology fieldwork (fossils included!), and always lend a hand with cleaning or organizing. I'm a curious and respectful travel buddy who loves history, music, and culture—and I’m always up for good conversation or helping around the house.
